This Brentwood residence was envisioned as a new build with the soul of an old Spanish home—bridging tradition with modern living. The clients wanted a house that felt rooted in history yet distinctly contemporary, layered with texture, warmth, and bold personality.

Classic Mediterranean elements—arched doorways, Roman clay walls, and artisanal ironwork—are paired with open layouts suited to today’s lifestyle. Nearly every detail was custom, crafted in collaboration with artisans I sourced, from cabinetry and railings to stonework, hardware, and handblown glass lighting.

Family-friendly and durable, the home was designed to host gatherings while remaining comfortable for everyday life. Materials were chosen to patina gracefully, creating a residence that feels both timeless and fresh, and will only grow richer with use.
